Keith Ross (Fellow, IEEE) is the Dean of Computer Science, Data Science, and Engineering, a Professor of Computer Science at NYU Shanghai and an Associated Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Tandon School of Engineering, NYU. He also holds an affiliated appointment with the Department of Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and with the Center for Data Science at NYU.

He is an ACM Fellow and an IEEE Fellow. He is also the recipient of several prestigious best paper awards, and his work has been featured in the mainstream press, including the New York Times, NPR, Bloomberg Television, Huffington Post, Fast Company, Ars Technia, and the New Scientist.

Prof. Nan-ning Zheng

Xi'an Jiaotong University

Nanning Zheng (Fellow, IEEE) graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering, in 1975, received the M.S. degree in information and control engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 1981, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, in 1985.,He is currently a Professor and the Director with the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition and image processing, and hardware implementation of intelligent systems.,Dr. Zheng became a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, in 1999

Prof. Yihong Gong

Xi'an Jiaotong University

Yihong Gong (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from The University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1987, 1989, and 1992, respectively. In 1992, he joined Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as an Assistant Professor with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. From 1996 to 1998, he was a Project Scientist with the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Since 1999, he has been with the Silicon Valley Branch, NEC Labs America, as a Group Leader, the Department Head, and the Branch Manager. In 2012, he joined Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, as a Distinguished Professor. His research interests include image and video analysis, multimedia database systems, and machine learning

Prof. Jiangtao Cui

Executive Dean of School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University

Jiangtao Cui (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. From 2007 to 2008, he was with the Data and Knowledge Engineering Group, The University of Queensland, Australia, where he is working on high-dimensional indexing for large scale image retrieval. He is currently the Execute Dean and a Distinguished Professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University. He has published more than 100 journals and conference papers, including VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, The VLDB Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Big Data. His research interests include database management and core techniques, temporal–spatial data management, blockchain data management, and computer vision. He is a Distinguished Member and a fellow of CCF. He is currently a Committee Member of CCF TCDB, CCF TCAPP, and CCF TCBC

Assoc. Prof. Pavel Loskot

Pavel Loskot (IEEE Senior member) has 25+ years of experience in design, analysis, implementation and deployment of telecommunication systems through numerous academic and industrial collaborative projects and consultancy contracts. Expert level knowledge of digital and statistical signal processing, algorithms and methods. Solid background in applied probability and statistics. Avid Linux programmer and user since 1996. In 2014/2015, as a Visiting Researcher at CSRC of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics started working on computational molecular biology. In 1999-2001, Research Scientist and Project Manager at CWC, Oulu, Finland. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the UK, and the Recognised Research Supervisor of the UK Council for Graduate Education. A Senior Member of the IEEE since 2013.
